Great Display Table... NEED HELP?

Hi,
I'm trying to recreate a table I saw on-line and was hoping you guys could help me locate the hard ware I might need to make the "Hinge/lifting" device I need for the table.

here is a link to what inspired me. I would like it to be as close to this as possible but I figure if I make it myself I can save some serious money.

Try checking Woodcraft or Lee Valley Tools for the hardware. You could have a machine shop fabricate you a set.
 
Also, go to your local fairly high end to high end furniture shops and look at how the hinge and lifting is done - it's fairly standard - however - you don't see the important details in the photo you posted.
 
Hinges like these are manufactured by Blum or Hafele. Check with a high end furniture or commercial cabinet maker - the kind of people who make bullet resistant judges benches. (Not modular kitchen crap.)
