Do you have one or the other. I am tempted to purchase the Wrangler, but the Cuban may be more practical, what's everyone's take on them? Also it seems the prices are in the 150 range on ebay, or elsewhere. Anyone have a good source on these? Opinion?

Glad to help. I could have gone into more detail with specific dealer recommendations but they prefer to keep this forum more about the knives themselves than about where to buy them.

I don't own either knife so I can't help you with your decision between the two. However just from looking at them, I think I'd prefer the Cuban variety. But everyone has different preferences so what works for me or appeals to my eye may not be your choice.

Hopefully a few folks who have both can give you some better insight. Did you have a specific need or planned usage for the new knife? Or a preferred method of carry? Any details like that could help people figure out how to best advise you.

While I don't have either, the #57 Wrangler and #53 Cuban Castro seem to be 2 very different knives... The #57 is 3 1/2" closed with a punch and no straight blades while the #53 is 4 1/8" closed with 4 straight blades and no curved blades. If it were up to me, I'd recommend the #53 Cuban Stockman which is also 4 1/8" closed but has a 3" muskrat clip blade, a low riding sheepsfoot blade with nail nick on the mark side, and a spey blade.
