Just saw these on Collector Knives. Really like both. No idea which is which, I'm guessing that Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer never used a glow in the dark barlow. Any information?

Excuse my ignorance, but what's the usual length of a 'grandaddy barlow' (these aren't terms that are used over here)?

82 years.

I believe they're usually 5" in length? But fear not, someone will be along shortly to correct me if that's wrong.

Also, to clarify the upcoming GEC offerings: the #15 Barlows (Sawyers) are Charlie's doing, the #15 Capped Jacks (Huckleberries) are GEC's, as further developed on the same frame.

I think the terms "daddy barlow" and "granddaddy barlow" are used interchangeably. Same thing.

I love grandaddy Barlows. They're just a straightforward pattern. With that being said I can't make up my mind between the #15 Sawyer Barlow or the older Ben Hogan #65. I'll probably wind up getting both over time, if possible. Still I love the constant surge of new knives that are being put out by GEC and their effort to get customers with different taste.

If they make this pattern with a sheepsfoot/wharncliffe blade, or a 2 blade version with one as a secondary, I'll definitely buy one.

Im ok with the Spear tip....If it were clip I would be less inclined. Im with you on the Sheepsfoot or coping secondary. Im still getting two....lol!
