Sure would be nice to have some more input as to approx. blade length desired, intended uses, your hand size, etc.

There are a plthora of great knives from the more commonly mentioned makers Benchmade, Kershaw, and Spyderco, as well as so many more makers.

A bit more input would be needed to make a reasonable expectation.

Like orthogonal1 said, you haven't really given us much to go on. But based on price range alone, I would find myself looking at Zero Tolerance.

Some excellent, can't miss ones. Some are discontinued and must be bought other than new. Not in any special order:

1) Spyderco military CF/BG42 or S90V or CPM D2
2) Spyderco Manix or Chinook, any version
3) Spyderco Endura or Police G10 versions
4) ZT 0200 154cm, or just about any ZT. 0200 is amazing for price!
5) Buck 110 custom BG42, or CPM 154 ( Bass pro version?)
6) Kershaw JYD 2, Ti/SG2 steel
7) Buck Ti S30V Mayo
8) Spyderco Stretch 2 or caly 3 in ZDP 189 ( or old Caly jr ZDP for budget version)
9) Benchmade 710 or 806, or Ritter Grip in either M2, or CPM M4 ( for 710 and 806, no M4 rittergrip....yet)
10) SOG Tigershark 3.0 VG10

- Sage 2 for a compact utility knife that's in essence similar to and nearly as good (perhaps just as good) as a Sebenza.
- Spyderco Military if you want something bigger (but it will scare the non-knife-people)

The Buck/Mayo TNT is a great looking, lightweight titanium framelock - Blade is S30V with the Paul Bos heat treat.

Al Mar S.E.R.E 2000 series are excellent I think. i have the Mini S.E.R.E 2000

The ZT 300 is available around $200 and they are simply awesome for the money. Possibly the best made factory frame lock out there....

I also like the Buck TNT and big BM Skirmish (if you can find one....)

Good hunting:)

If you want to be right at $200, I'd sugggest the Bradley Alias I. The II was too small for me. For maybe $50 more, you could shop and find a used small CRK Sebenza.

There are, however, many Spyderdcos and Benchmades for $125 or less that are almost as good. And, there are some Kershaws that are almost as good and even less.

For $40. more dollars, you could have a Black Bear custom folder. One of the Best folders on the market. Google Black Bear Knives.

Here your list:

1) Bradley Alias I
2) Spyderco military CPM D2
3) Spyderco Chinook
4) Emerson CQC-13
5) ZT 0200 154cm
6) Kershaw JYD 2, Ti/SG2 steel
7) Buck Ti S30V Mayo
8) Benchmade 710
9) Benchmade 635
10) SOG Tomcat 3.0 VG10
11) AlMar S.E.R.E. 2000
12) BladeTeck Rijback
13) Fallkniven PXL
14) Kershaw Tyrade
