A friend from Taiwain brought me back one of these "bombshell" knives...what a gorgeous knife...and a great story behind the company at their site....

Cool story! Pretty close to beating swords into plowshares or making lemonade when life hands you lemons!

I took a look at the above knife and could just hear it knacking away against a cutting board while piling up some nicely diced veggies.

How does it cut and handle?

I haven't tried it yet....I'm debating whether to keep it in the box or use it...guess I should use it...life is too short to put it away....:)

Last time he brought me one of these...it has a real interesting blade and the handle is made from water buffalo horn...supposedly a bit rare these days.....this one sits in the safe as my SOG folder does my daily chores....

Well... it's depend on where you live..

Nice knife though... how thin is the blade?

Fairly thick and tapers down....I guess he meant Japanese water buffalo...aren't they a bit sacred over there?
