This really isn't a review as I have only had the knife for a couple of hours. This is really more an observation...

Backstory:
I haven't bought a Buck knife in at least 10 years. I have had a few and had no problem with them until all that I could find we're made in China. I'm not sure if Buck has changed things up recently but I'm seeing way more US made Bucks these days. I like that.

More Backstory:
I generally tend to prefer a traditional folder but have recently wanted to start carrying a modern knife as well. I bought a couple of more expensive folders but knew there had to be a less expensive EDC. I don't particularly need a heavy hard use knife for EDC. I just need something well made and durable that won't cost me $100 or more in case I lose it or screw it up.

Current story:
Went to the local hardware store which had a ton of Buck Sheath Knives but only a few folders. Went to Wal Mart and found that Buck was the only US made knife on the shelf. Took a look at the Wal Mart exclusive 721 Slim and decided to take it home. I couldn't personally hold any of them due to packaging but they all looked to be the same quality. Fit and finish is pretty good, lock up is solid, and no blade play. Is it as smooth as the Benchmade? No, but it's a dang good knife made in the USA that can be bought for $30.00!

Things I really like:
USA Made
Razor sharp
Non obtrusive clip
Tip up/down/left/right Clip carry
Decent Jimping
Solid feel
Lockback
Torque Screws rather than pivots
Pretty centered blade (my $165 Benchmade didn't have a centered blade, lol)
I don't know if anyone from Buck reads this forum but Thank you & great job!

That is awesome. Under 50 bucks for a quad carry made in usa knife. Plus, nobody does 420hc (assuming that is what it is) like buck, not even close. Great budget knife there.

I have a partially serrated version I picked up. It is a nice modern style knife. Wouldnt mind having a non serrated version myself.

I've had those on my list for quite awhile, but always seem to forget about them. Our local WM doesn't stock them though, so it's going to be an online purchase.
I like the look, and the price

After having it a couple of days I personally have found that I don't like aluminum handles. Great bang for the Buck knife though!
