great karda & hanshee grip

My research trip was beyond succesful and have confirmed many things while uncovering new facts.

One of the most interesting (and will be controversal) is seeing a painting done in 1816 showing General Bhimsen Thapa's Gorkha forces to the British at Sanguli with all the muskets fitted with an obvious kukri shaped bayonet.

Check out my pic of two polar bears making a snowman in a blizzard.

It was taken in the evening. Everything looks a little grey.

Bruise, I did a painting like that once. Spilled a whole bottle of "white-out" and thats what it looked like. I think the polar bears made a great snowman.

Those is some fancy handles. How is that striped handle done? Is it bone and horn?

Wonder if that was artistic license?
A way of saying "these are gurkhas"--fer sure.
