I had a great day at the Knife Show in Lewisburg, PA. The "Knife of the Day" were knives made by Black Bear Knives. The folders are incredible! A simple, strong, light design. And, Extremely Sharp. A G-10 handled version is now offered besides the Aluminum. Google, blackbearknives.com. Made By Michael Stankiewicz.
Thanks!

I was there as well on Saturday Morning. Spent some real enjoyable time at the Great Eastern Cutlery tables.

DavidZ---Jah, that was a great table!
I might order a Black Bear Metro Razor. Michael, the owner, let me test a folder for sharpness and...it was Sharp!!

So-Lo - I talked to the Sales Manager of GEC for quite a while. He is a real personable young man, and very excited and passionate about his knives. I see some great things coming from them. They have more patterns planned, but he was not specific. Let's hope that the economy doesn't slow their plans. I picked up a real nice #54 Big Jack. It was calling my name. :) Genuine Stag. Long pulls, and the sweetest action that I have felt in a long time. During the time that I was there, a lot of visiting and talking took place, but I did not see any money change hands. I hope that they sold a lot later in the day.
Lycosa - I was also impressed with the black bear knives. But GEC got my knife money that day.
Thanks,
Dave.
