100_3864.jpg I picked up a few hides of Cape Buffalo on my recent trip to Wichita Falls, TX and the Boot and Saddle Maker's Round Up.
The photo below is of a sheath I made using the Cape Buff. I got three colors, each of which can be dyed nearly any color I want. The best part is the price. It was less expensive than my veg tan and it is an EXOTIC!

If any of you have any interest, email me direct and I'll point you in the right direction.

Very cool Paul! It's neat stuff and very reasonably priced compared to other exotics. I've got a side of that from two or three years ago picked up at the Sheridan Leather Show from my favorite exotics dealer. I'm betting it might be the same guy who's name starts with a J?

Paul, when I see your work I just want to throw mine in the rubbish.. that is a beautiful sheath !
