Great looking, great materials, great prices...Steel Will?

I've had a couple of mini-Gekko's... both bought new and came perfect. I'd have no hesitation about buying another one. In fact, I'm actually keeping an eye on their offerings in case I see a model that I want to try.

They make a good knife. I have the Mini Cutjack in M390 and like it quite a lot. I bought it on impulse at a knife shop as like you I had never heard of the brand to that point. I don't regret this purchase even a little.

I bought a Censor 1310 two years ago. Immediately put a nice bevel on the false edge. Very handy knife for ~$50.00.

I bought a mini cutjack way back when they first released and got a bad example with terrible lock-stick and awful action. I promptly sent it back and got a refund. I'm sure mine was just a fluke that slipped through as it was a cool little budget blade.

Either way, I much prefer the Rat 2 in that category.

Never heard of this brand before, some frikkin nice knives bros and cheap.

Any reports?

I really hate the word frikkin...

I've had a few Steel Will knives and they've all been decidedly underwhelming. Nothing really wrong with them aside from some slight centering issues on the cheaper ones. They're just boring.

The new model (2 years late) with the ant lock looks a bit more compelling. When versions with colorful handles are available I might pick one up. I don't do black g10.

^^ Mine is blue. It’s the cheap one. :D

I got the full size Cutjack today, in D2 and I’m really impressed. Obviously not in the same league as Spyderco or Benchmade, but for less than $40 it’s great! Mine arrived with a really smooth action and solid lockup. The centering is a little off but it’s not rubbing anywhere and I’m very happy with it.

I have a fixed blade Roamer R315 made of 9cr18mov (a Chinese steel compatible to 440C I believe). It has decent edge holding for a Chinese steel and Steel Wills fit and finish is excellent on this knife. Not bad for $50.
