I bought a large classic sebenza about two weeks ago. At first it was a little stiff when opening and closing. After a whole bunch of opening and closing it broke in and started to get slicker. It was still not quite as slick as some of my benchmades but it was much better than most of my other knives. Today I dissasembled it and cleaned all the grease off. Once done I lubed all the moving parts with Militech 1. Now I know the meaning of slick. this knife feels like its pivots are made of ice. Militech simply owns the grease that came on the knife from the factory. If you haven't tried this stuff get some now and test it out. I think you will love the results. Not to mention they are giving away free tubes of it from http://www.militec.com/ Just click on the free sample and write an email to them. They probably won't repond but in a few days you will recieve your sample. This is truely great stuff try it. :D

I've tried it one day. Well, it's smooth. At first. But than it collects all the lint from your pocket like a hoover and... bye bye, smooth :) So I've switched back to Chris Reeve Fluorinated Grease. Sebenza is very smooth, but you need to push the stud all the way to open it. It's just how it works. Like bank safe door... heavy & not as fast as your house door, but still very smooth and easy to operate. Yeah, that's how Sebenza works :D

I complained about my Sebbie here when I got it until I realized that it isn't as easy to open as my BM Ritter grip but it is smooooooooth. With the fluorinated grease it seems to be smooth and easy enough to open.

I have been using the CRK lube for sometime on most of my folders. Good quality stuff that lasts.

I'll reply with a more long term review after I've been using the militec for a while. Although it is supposed to actually bond with the metal and stay lubed even when wiped dry. So I would think it would take a while to get this stuff to not be slippery.

I like the slicker action though. With the grease it just seemed too slow. It still locks up one hundred percent and still has that bank vault feel. I tend to prefer a bit easyer open though.
