If you're like me, you are constantly on the lookout for really neat, unique handle materials...whether they be ivory, synthetics, wood or otherwise....recently I've had the good fortune to deal with Mike and Cara Ludemann with WSSI, (Wood Stabilizing Specialists, Int'l)....find them at www.stabilizedwood.com. Maybe all of you have dealt with them and maybe some haven't...but they are great to work with. They have really good website that shows off their various products which by the way....are gorgeous in person...in the "flesh" as they say. And here's their business practice....at least with me..they sent me the block I'd inquired about with a bill. The instruction was to pay if I liked the block...if not, simply return to them. They've got a stabilized, double-dyed wood product that is unlike anything else I've seen in my (ain't gonna tell) many years of collecting and having Randalls built. I have no financial interest in WSSI and have never met the Ludemanns...but my experience with them has been super.
