So I was all set to pull the trigger on the ESEE 4 in 1095 and then yesterday saw all the Shot Show stuff on the laser strike, crap, what am I going to do now??? So lets hear a few thoughts on which of the two you would get if you could only have one other knife to go along with a Junglas.

I really like the 4, but I haven't held the laser strike.
My initial thoughts are that the laser strike seems like it would be a good all-around knive, but that's what I'd use the 4 for. It doesn't look as 'threatening' so I wouldn't mind lashing it to a backpack that I wear to work/around town, though, which is a huge benefit for urban/city use.

Oh, but they won't be out for a long time..........so buy the 1095 4 now and then decide in June/July/August what you want next!

get both!!!! but to answer your question, i'd go with the LS because the blade length is a tad longer. not that the 4 couldn't handle just about anything you throw at it, but the extra length could come in handy. plus you'd be a bad ass with a laser in you hand!
if you already have a junglas, you are probably set on larger blades. i'd go with the 4 as a companion to the junglas. check out jgon's post about 'the right knife for the job' where he talks about using the izula, 4, and junglas. looks like an awesome combo that could conquer all.
that being said, the ls could probably fit in the place of the 4 quite comfortably. hard to say. i do agree that the 4 would probably be less threatening or intimidating though.
just get the 4 now and save a little here and there over the next few months while you are waiting for the ls to come out.
