Picked this up the other day at goodwill of all places. I had been searching for one for a while. Not only handy for measuring for cooking, but shot glasses work great for for frictionless bearing blocks (thanks RescueRiley for that one) and also works for "measuring" that choice drink.

Has teaspoons, tablespoons, ounces, and milliliters on it.

I'm sure RR already told you this, but if you are going to use a shot glass for the top bearing, heavily tape the outside of it with duct tape. It can and has broken when used in this fashion and drove bits of glass into the palm.

Thanks for the tip, but I don't plan to use as a bearing block regularly. I was just trying to list other uses for it. But I have tried using a shot glass in the past and it worked great, but I made sure to wear a pair of good leather gloves.
