I received my copy of this knife earlier this week, and I am happy to report that I like it! It is the perfect size and is nice and thin in the pocket. I love the full size sheeps foot blade, the mammoth Ivory is beautiful, the finish is flawless as well. There are only two areas that could be improved to make this a perfect knife. :) The first is a very minor nitpick... When the blade is open to the half-stop position, the back spring is not quite flush with the liners. The second is more of a flaw to my tastes; the blade is a bit mushy on closing. I like to have some snap on the final closing motion. The half-stop and full-open snap are perfect though. Overall, the design is a perfect 10 on my scale. The execution of fit is an 8, and the finish is another 10. It is now my favorite traditional for everyday carry.

Is there a model number or name of this knife?

Looks to be Northwoods Freemont #79, and I would concur 100% with Shawns review of it.

Edit: Looks like Shawn beat me in saying what it was, they are great.

Is that a wharncliffe blade? I was actually looking at these last night but didn't pull the trigger.
