Well, you've got to be careful how you ship!
They shipped in the large version of those, BTW.

StalkingHog, these things have been around awhile. But you are right, they would be awesome for shipping the big blades. I've used them to ship tripods, maps etc., etc.. They do need extra taping, especially @ the ends. Almost all Priority Mail boxes are free and you can have them delivered to your home in bulk @ no charge.

I never knew about the small ones, I've gotten some big ones from HI.
Also, for some reason, I didn't see them or the big ones on the USPS website before, and I looked too. Maybe they were just out of stock.

You've just haven't been hanging out in all the right places, WM---H.I. has shipped with those for years. And yes, they ARE great for moving biguns.

You could also just connect two of the large rectangle boxes end to end together for the SHBM length or slightly longer.

I can vouch for te fact that HI ships using them. Oddly enough, my box was assembled inside-out.
