Went back for my three week checkup today and the good news is that I now have 20-15 vision in my right eye!!!! :D
I knew it was much better when just the other morning I looked out the kitchen window and saw a flea on our neighborhood squirrel's ass scratching at the flea mite on its own ass 30 feet up on top of the telephone pole in the backyard.;) :p :o

The left eye that was done about a year ago has 20-25 vision so I am much improved with the cataract surgery!!!! :D
I'm going ahead and getting my trifocals remade with plain glass in the top so that I can continue to use the snap-on sunglasses I have for my frames as well as having them for reading when on a roadtrip or other necessary function.
I have titanium frames which are very lightweight anyway and there's no sense in letting them go to waste.
I'll be getting a pair of +2.25 reading glasses for around the house for reading and up close work. I no longer need my glasses for my computer!!!! :D

I go back in another three weeks mostly as a formality. I'll have the new right lens for my glasses this Friday and will be good to go!

Yvsa, your eyes are much better than mine. I didn't see a thing. I was wondering what all the loud ruckus was about. All I heard was "Help! Help! This giant flea is kicking my ass." Thanks for explaining all the noise.

;)

You lucky dog, I'm jealous! I've only ever dreamed of being able to see half that well. I'm glad to hear it all the same, it's great to hear more good news coming from your neck of the woods. :)

20-15 is BETTER than 20-20...

Now, you need to resume shooting with iron sights.

Eye told ya so...

Great news, Yvsa. Your eyesight's better than mine. I've been having to wear my glasses at work for the last few months now.

Good stuff and glad to hear it Yvsa. Don't let the neighbors in on your new super powers though, every time you stand next to the window, they'll think you're scoping 'em out. :p :D

That's great news Yvsa! Pretty soon you'll be able to toss the binoculars. :D I have some small idea of how troublesome eye problems can be and glad things are "looking up" for you! ;)

(Ouch...)

Best,

Norm

What are you doing wasting your time looking at flea's asses when you should be checking out the wimmens.LOL

Really great to see you doing so well!

That's great news! You could wear my glasses now and see the future!

Nothing scares me as much as the fear of losing my vision (well, except dying, maybe). :o

Great news Yvsa. Now you'll be able to see the crappie that much better in the ice chest.

That's way better than me, and I'm 19! Jeez, maybe I need surgery!... :D

Great news, Yvsa. Glad to hear it!

Chris
