I ended up with some knives that are need of repair and cleaning. I decided due to the particular knives to discuss with Jeff through email before I sent them in.
The one was a 4 pin 112 that I just needed cleaned up. But looking at the photos I can not believe it has the original blade.
The second was a 112 Custom that some poor sap shortened the blade, I told Jeff that I would be using this knife for EDC but I would really like to maintain the Custom blade. Now it ended up so beautiful I hate to carry it and get it dirty, but a promise is a promise.
The third is a 5-3 110 that will go on the wall with the "Nice Knives"

After Spa

More after

This is a big shout out to BUCK and Mister Jeff for a job well done.
AND a BIG THANK YOU

Thank you for posting that. Awesome stuff Buck does for its customers.

375, on your 4 pin model, I can't believe that it originally had a 2 dot blade. Good looking photos. DM

Dave M, it did have a 2 dot blade to start with.

Skyler, I only have a couple of Custom knives to start with so I am very happy they were able to replace the blade "in kind"

Nice job Buck. Thanks for the pictures, 375dave.

When I first saw the 4 pin after the spa I thought, oh no, they put a new blade on there...
Whoever re profiled that blade did a fine job.

Just saw someone catch a 4 pin, two dot.

That 4 pin, 2 dot surprised me, I found it is a little out of the way town I used to live in, Plains MT. I checked the pawn shop that never has anything on my last day in town.
Bingo, Score!!!

The frame looks squared. So, correct for a 2 dot blade but not with 4 brass pins.? DM

In the sticky "revised 110/112 data sheet as of --->5/1/08" Started by Joe Houser, in the attached file.
I find this.

"Variation 5 (1974-1980)21

Thanks for pulling those up. I don't have Office Program so I cannot read the data sheets above. According to sheets handed out at 20 year Buck Collectors Reunion it would be a Version 5 variation 2-- 1978. So, still in the 2 dot stamping. Thanks for this as I thought it was outside that stamp.
