They say the best weapon is one you never have to fire. I prefer the weapon you only need to fire....once. That's how dad did it....that's how America does it and its worked out pretty well so far.

I laugh every time......

"People ask me if it's better to be feared or respected. I say, is it too much to ask for both?"

Looking forward to this one!

Just saw it last night. Great movie. Robert Downey was spot on as the current Tony Stark. I definitely look forward to catching the next installment.

P.S. Stick around after the credits (of course).

Yep, saw it last night, really fun flick!

Definitely sit through the credits, it will seem like FOREVER, but worth it!

Saw that last night with the wife, pretty good flick
and now that I read there is a bit after the credits
makes my seeing it again with my daughter all the better :)
And yep, Jr does pretty good in this, good to see him back on track!
G2

I've already seen the movie, but if anybody wants to ruin the part after the credits for everyone who hasn't for the sake of say, people who didn't know better and left immediately, I'm all ears.
This is one of those times where I'll definitely be buying the DVD when it comes out.

Samuel L. Jackson makes an appearance as Nick Fury. He talks to Tony Stark about The Avengers.

Samuel L Jackson as Nick Furry? Sweet! I assumed if they ever did that, they would have Will Smith play him.

Excellent, excellent Superhero movie. I'm seeing it again before it leaves theaters. I went in not expecting much at all, and ended up thoroughly enjoying myself.

As long as we're turning this into a spoilers thread, I enjoyed Terrance Howard's remark about the Prototype suit.

The movie was worth watching just for the one-liners and quips Robert Downey Jr. makes throughout. That, and the scene immediately following "Let's try this again, 10% power."

Just a reminder, folks. The DVD came out for sale today;)

Tryin' to get the kids to bed, but just watched a couple of the better scenes real quick when I got home from work. Nice. This was one of the better superhero flicks to come out in recent years.

I actually got to see the private screening of it the night before it was released at George Lucas's underground theatre out at the Skywalker Ranch. I was lucky enough to have a very good friend who works out there at Skywalker Sound and was the head sound engineer on the film. He got my name on the list, and I got to sit right behind Lucas himself!! One of my highlights:D

I assume you asked him what kind of knife he carries? :)

LOL, nice Morrowj:D All I got was a quick hello and nod. He's just a touch eccentric (go figure:D) and isn't much for small talk, but very cool. Soft spoken, friendly, and one hell of an artist:thumbup:
