If anyone is looking for a great source for belts I highly reccomend Discount Abrasives. I have bought from Kim in the past and she is always great to deal with. To put the icing on the cake I recently ordered 100 belts from her. When I got them there had been a mixup on one of the grits. They sent me 80 grit instead of 180. I emailed her and she said I could keep the 80's and that she would also send me out the 180's for free!!! That's customer service.
Here's a link to their website-

So, how does the quality compare to the name brands like norton or 3M??? Those are great prices BTW.

The Zirconia (blue Belts) are great. They only stock the zirconia in certain sizes, up to 120 grit but they also have them in silicon carbide up to like 800 grit. They have a sale on silicon carbide sandpaper in the special section. I have been using it and it out cuts norton by far and they have it up to 2000 grit.

I've been buying belts from Kim for a couple years now, she's good people for sure.

Thanks, I just ordered twenty from them. Good price as long as shipping isn't to much. I'll post when i get them about shipping to Canada.

Keep us (Canucks ;) ) in the loop re: the cost of shipping to Canada. The price is right on the belts  .

I have also ordered form Kim many times. I have always been happy with her service and quality of product. I use A/O belts and last time I ordered they were like $1.20 (for a 2x60 belt) a piece, plus she always seems to throw in a few extra. :D

Isn't there an issue with the splice???
Last time I ordered the belts they had a really bad splice that made the belt have a BIG bump at the splice.

Has this changed?
If so which type is the best she sells?
