I needed a new stencil a while back and took the advice of a forumite on Using IMG Electromark.

I corresponded with Patricia Bruno on my order. She was very nice and understands the needs of Knifemakers.

I received my stencils in two days after ordering the approved artwork, and they work fantastic. Especially since I took Patricia's advice and ordered a new handpiece for my etcher.

I completely agree Mark. I've been using IMG's stuff for a few years now and they are tops. Patricia is very helpful and a real sweet lady. I'd suggest them to anyone.

I got tired of fooling with stencils and marking systems. I have a jewelry store engraving machine that I use instead. I engrave my last name on one side and the type steel on the other. I have personalizer plus and have never been really satisfied with it. Maybe it was the stencils, they screwed up more than they etched, so I quit fooling with it. It might be the solutions, I don't know and don't feel like buying a bunch of more stuff to find out. When I tried to buy some new stencils from one of the suppliers they pissed me off, so I stuck it under a bench someplace. I hate marking systems and they hate me. Life is good!

I've been dealing with Marking Methods. I find that I like their stencils because the back is somewhat tacky and sticks to the blade, but is easy to pull off. When washed, the tackiness returns. Mark, how much was the new handpiece?

I made a hand-piece for my etcher when my Marking Methods one broke.

I'm going to try IMG when I get some new stencils. I love the way the Marking Methods one work, but I don't like dealing with them very much.

McMaster Carr (Google it)
Every size type screw nut bolt, steel, raw material you can think of---they have it!
Fast accurate and have taken care of the one mistake they made the next day no questions asked.

The 4650 . It has a tube that you can fill with electrolite. I just dip it in the solution since I'm only marking one at the time.

I recently bought an Evenheat heat treat oven from Tim Zowada, at www.tzknives.com.

He is a very knowledgeable knifemaker, was helpful and easy to deal with. His price was excellent too, but the best thing was talking with him and learning a little.

I recently bought an Evenheat oven from Tim Zowada and I have to second what Chris said. I also like dealing with Jantz, fast service and good prices. James Poplin also ranks up there with the good guys.

James Poplin is great! Paragon Kilns is great to work with, they answered all my questions and built my kiln to my specs.
I know this is a great suppliers thread, but I have to agree with mlovett about TKS. Never again.
