Great tang stamp!

Just picked up another oldie. The tang stamp is nicely done. Zenith Marshall Wells. Not familiar with the maker but it seems like a solid piece.

According to Levine's...they were out of Duluth, MN. Knives made in USA. 1888-1963

Hardware Store branches in Portland, OR, Spokane, Billings, Great Falls, Winnipeg, Edmonton and Vancouver.
 
According to Goins...They sold a wide variety of knife brands...Hartford Cutlery, Zenith, Hammer Brand, Wallkill River Works, Delux and Marble's.

Sold in 1959 and moved to NY state. Went out of business around 1963.

Utica, and NYK made knives for them, along with others. From left field mind you, I'd say that's a Utica!!

Get a load of that long nail nick on the pen blade...that is cool! The lines are still very crisp on the clip too...I really like this knife. Gonna carry her for a bit.

That's a beauty. Great bone and the blades are still quite full. The stamp is really neat with those graphics and intricate script rather than just block lettering. What the length on it?
 
Sweet knife and I love the tang stamp, it reminds me of the old Paiste cymbals logo stamp like on my good old 1950's 22" ride cymbal (photo from the Paiste wiki database)
