Talked with docs today and not much chance for Dad. He's being kept alive by IVs and I along with brother and sisters told doc to take him off IVs and try to get him home so he can die smoking a cigarette in his favorite chair.

It's a tough time but I'm holding up better than anybody. Be prepared.

Will keep you informed as possible.

Prayers for Dad's transition would be much appreciated.

More when possible.

I guess it's his time. That probably doesn't make it any easier. My condolences to you and family. Cherish him while he's still with you.
I'm not much of a religious person, but Vaya Con Dios has always seemed an appropriate expression.

Give him my love too. Never met him but there are never enough good men to go around, and they need to be cherished and remembered. At least he left us you as his legacy, so take care of yourself too.
 
I'm sorry to hear this Bill but he is leaving some really good people on this earth. Do what you have to do and take care of yourself.
