I have read quite a bit on this forum about Greco knives. Some good some could be better. I would like to know from those of you who own one of his folders, how thick is the blade and how thick are the scales? From the various sources I have seen, the blade is anywhere from .1875” to .250” thick. What is it really? And also what does the knife weigh? Thanks.

Follow-up Question. If any of you have taken the knife apart, what is the diameter of the pivot pin? Thanks Again.

Well on my Falcon (it's a little over a year old so it might not be what you get from them now, I don't know) with a convex ground blade (if you didn't know there are flat ground blades that might have different dimensions, but I would assume that the stock is the same) the dimensions are as follows as measured with a cheap micrometer so they might not be up to the highest standards, but I believe they are close.
All sizes in inch.
Blade thickness - .200 at the base near the pivot. It obviously gets thinner as you move towards the tip of the blade.

Scales- .090

Pivot pin diameter- .215

Total thickness of assembled knife from scale to scale- .390

Sorry I don't have anything other than a bathroom scale and it doesn't register on that so the best I can do is say that with my hands the closest knife that I have in weight is the CRKT Ryan model 7 that is listed at 5.7 oz.

No problem.

I will add that it's a good heavy duty knife, but do not expect full custom quality. It's a little gritty in overall build and could in all honesty use some refinement. But my biggest complaints are not having a clip and that the optional g10 scales that you could add to the handle to make it thicker are no longer offered.
