Green Beret handle slabs...removable...or no?

Title pretty much says it all...are they held on with the screws only or are they epoxied into place as well?

I don't have one but I would assume they are removable.

Slabs are bonded to the steel with industrial strength 3M two-sided adhesive tape. This keeps moisture from getting under the slabs, but makes their removal extremely difficult if not nearly impossible without destroying them.
