Green Beret Knife on Magazine Cover

The Yarborough/Green Beret Knife is featured on the front cover of the March 2003 issue of Tactical Knives. Not much new information in the article that most of us in this forum didn't already know.

The most interesting part of the article was a comment by the author Chuck Karwan stating "The Yarborough knife is in my opinion the single best combat knife in its size class ever adopted and issued by any military unit in history."

This issue is on the news stands now, at least around here.

Considering it costs about ten times what a Ka-Bar does, it should be. Most members of other specialized units that need really good knives, get them. They just don't get them as general issue.

My good friend Ken came over the other night with that issue of Tactical Knives and The Knife itself. (We need Smilies for 'jealousy' and 'frustration' ) NICE knife. I agree it would be hard to find a better one to issue to anyone.
