I have to ask if this looks legit. What has me worried is the birth certificate.

Please, I’m no expert, is it real?

I see what you mean. Magnacut in 2016? No. That is the biggest red flag.

Those do not look like CRK micarta scales, the hardware is wrong, and the font on the blade looks really suspect, as do the stickers, shiny paper, etc. Where did you purchase it from?

I can offer pics of a GB manufactured in 2024 for comparison.

They didn’t offer Magnacut in 2016. The letters look different in a bad way. The scales don’t look right either. Here’s one of my GBs for reference

I sent pics to CRK it definitely a fake. It proves you have to be careful on the secondary market.

The handles being G10 / plastic should be a dead give away
