I just got my Green Beret. Do you guys know if anyone makes leather sheaths for this knife? Not that the synthetic sheath isn't awesome, but I don't like how I find shavings from the kydex on my blade. BTW, Chris, this knife is AWESOME!! Everything is perfect.
 
You can order a leather sheath for the GB from Chris. They started having them made about 6 months ago. Cost is around $50.
 
Thanks a lot, do you have any pics of these sheaths or know where I can see a pic of one?
 
The sheath design is similiar to the Nnkonka.
 
Here is a picture of the leather GB sheath - we offer the same style for both the 7 inch and the 5.5 inch. The leather is extra hard and treated for moisture resistance - cost is $57.50, both sizes.

Just to keep things clear - this photo is of the 7 inch sheath - "small" in gb-leather-sheath-small refers to the size of the picture not the size of the sheath :)

i handled one of these knives (the larger blade) at the blade west show last year. definitely one of the most comfortable handle designs, and the canvas micarta feels amazing. great knife.
