Green Coating?

Just got a new blade which has a green coated blade. Would appreciate if you could provide more info on this "kind" of coating.

I'm not sure if it's the same, but Emerson Knives did a run of their Commanders in Birdsong's Green-T coating a while back. My guess is that it is like Blak-Ti coating with a color change.

The coating looks like a powder coating to me.

I don't know if your knife has it, but Lightfoot coats some of his blades with the same thing the military uses to coat tanks with.

It can also be done by parkerizing the blade, then coating it with cosmoline, then baking for awhile at about 250deg,f,when you clean the cosmoline off the metal stays green.
