Another Oz Ebay Item. Is it extremely rare as stated? Comments and possible value please? Hoo Roo

...and he's got a gray LB7 for sale as well #250027245895 @ Au $127.00 = US$93.00. Cheap or dear? Rare or limited or last minute knock ups for the auction Codger? Hoo Roo

There were three protos sold recently, and these are two of them. I was outbid on them. They went as a trio for less than he is asking for a single. I'll see if I can find the link to the original auction.

Sheesh!..He's not waisting any time attempting to realize on his investment. He's obviously cleaned and polished them as well.Caveat emptor!
Thanks Codger....you sure got a lot of info at your immediate fingertips mate, appreciated and he can keep his 3 protos at those prices. Hoo Roo

Dang Codger; that quick response with that much information amazed even me.....and you've always been my hero. That old boy has $27.66 USD plus postage in those knives. I wonder what happened to the red one? He did at least clean them up real good.

Unless my eyes deceive me those appear to be the earlier production. They all appear to be the 4 pin version as opposed to the newer 3 pin version. Someone please refresh my failing memory, when did that change take place?

Thanks,
Dale

Sometime between 1989-91 they deleted a cover pin, going from the traditional four showing to three. But... an engineering change order was issued in the spring of 1993 for the cover pins on all smooth delrin LB7s to be increased from two to three in order to close up the open cover on the front edge of the cover scale. This included the ivory delrin knives, so look at the SC507scrims for the years with three or four pins.
