Green handle material, green leather?

Andy's using a variety of outstanding green handle material and I wondered if anyone would be interested in sheaths that matched? Couple of months ago, at customer request, I made a sheath using green dye with brown over tone and think it came out well. The owner must have liked it since there was no negative feedback. Just thought I'd open that line of thought and make it available (and I have 4oz. of green dye waiting).

Sorry Rick, my bad. I will take some pictures tomorrow and put them up in this thread. I LOVE my green sheath!

I would love one for my green and yellow gaucho! Could you be creative with that???

Dude! I love the green! Sooo have to talk to you about of ofe these if I ever snag the green handled Fiddleback I want! I want a green burlap and bolstered Woodchuck and this sheath would be AWESOME for it!

It's sure possible to do color combinations with some of the brighter colors. Greens, reds, yellows work very well. The nature of the leather helps give them a more subdued look, which works out as a positive. I've done quite a few period style sheaths using colors rather than beads (very traditional) that came out really nice. I'm always ready to do something a little out of the ordinary, so if interested, give me a shout.

I LOVE the green. I think it would look good with ANY handle material.

You have a point there...up to a point :) Would look pretty awesome with any natural wood and synthetics with an organic look. Picturing it with the pink or salmon has me shaking my head lol

Hey Rick....

I like the green a lot and I REALLY like your period sheath! Seeing that picture gives me some ideas to run by you in the near future. Beautiful work!

Alright, Green Recluse with Rick Lowe GREEN crossdraw sheath...

Those are some really good photos! That dyed maple Recluse does look good with the sheath. It was Blaid's vision and I'm just happy to have been able to make it work on the leather end. This look isn't for everybody or every knife, but sure looks like another option to showcase the handle. Thanks to all for the good words.
