That's beautiful micarta. I love how dark it is. Goes very well with the patina on the guard.

I agree with all of the above.

I love the green burlap handle. It unique to me as I never see such a material on a hidden tangs or even sculpted. The green also goes very nicely with the brass guard; it's a great color combo. Whatever you did to patinate the guard looks very cool too, almost looks like an acid stone wash. Nice job on the overall fit & finish
