Hi guys,
hope you like the green color
Me, I like it!
Lets go to the business: my Queen 85th Anniversary Barlow. Its a limited edition, mine its the number 215/300

The handles are in green jigged bone (cow bone), with a Stanhope lens - see here for details http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stanhope_(optical_bijou) which is a top class detail IMHO. Stanhope lenses were invented in the mid-1800s by Lord Charles Stanhope in England, the viewing end of the lens is convex, and allows for high magnification in such a short focal length. A picture of the Queen City founders is featured in the Stanhope lens of this knife (note: some pocketknives from mid XIX had Stanhope lens with al sort of subjects). Thats the picture you may see looking at the Stanhope lens

Specs of the knife:
Blade length: 4" (10.16 cm)
Blade material: 1095 tool steel (carbon)
Handle material: Green jigged bone
Overall length: 8.88" (22.56 cm)
Folded length: 4.88" (12.40 cm)
Bolster: Nickel Silver
Weight: 4.40 ounces (124.74 grams)
Half stop, the slip its really tough, not a nail breaker, but really strong

The folded knife

Shape of the blade, a typical clip point in 1095 steel

Fit and finish are just great on this Queen Barlow

The knife has nickel silver bolster, engraved 1922-2007; of course being a real Barlow the bolsters are just huge

Certificate of authenticity, its a nice addiction to the package

Handling the knife, the tear-drop shape of the handle is comfortable

In summary: a top-end class knife, whit some great features.
Ciao,
Alfredo
