Green Linen Warden?

Was looking over the list of released Game Wardens and saw that in '06 a Green Linen Warden was released. It had Green Linen Micarta (obviously), .140", and satin finish.

Does anyone know how common these were? I've never seen one come up on the exchange, and I'd like to find one, but don't really want to waste my time looking if they were fairly rare.

Thanks for the help!

One of the hardest of the bunch to find. There weren't many. There was, however, a green linen fatty as well.

I missed that one, but I already have .14 users in Snake and black G10. Otherwise, I might expend the energy and cash to find a green linen version.

It was the hardest of any GW for me to find. It's also the best looking IMO. It was the last knife I saw with the older type Green Linen. The newer GL on my more recent knive, including other GW looks no where near as good.

Have no idea why I had it in this pic with a BATAC:confused:
Maybe lunde will come along with a good pic.

If I'm not mistaken, it is the rarest of them all.

Oh man, that is a beauty! Figures I'd be interested in one that can't be found.

I'd really like to find a .14 or .17 satin finish, and the SMOG just doesn't do it for me. What do you guys recommend?

Not a great shot... It's really hazy here, and the lighting is affecting the colors a bit. Had to tweak the crap out of the image, but here's a pair of the GL GW's.

This thread alone just raised the price $50. :D

Gotta be the prettiest GW they had. I got mine second-hand and paid a decent price, yet I thought it was a bargain.

You don't see many b/c those that have them hold them until required. Sure, you can have 89 BBSHSH's, but I doubt anyone has more than 2 or 3 at this point.

Here are some pix of the fatties that I already have uploaded.
They are like Ingots:D

I have a .14 in Orange..I am looking for a black to add...I love the .14 Wardens, they are great Bushcraft blades IMO. Gene

There might have been only around 20 of those but I like the LE better

The Leprechaun Warden has Green Linen scales. Send one to Ban for a strip and satin job.

I have one of those, but the scales are not near as nice as the original. The .140 green linen is the last Busse I have seen with the prominent yellow streaks.

The Lep scales do look good, and better than the most recent green linen.

And your right Guy, you could find a Lep and have Ban satin and thin down for a bit less $ I would think. Might be the only choice if you want a thin satin/GL.
