Here is one for a customer built to his specs. When I was building it I kept thinking that the proportions were way off. I still think that visually it needs a longer blade but after finishing it I really like the way this one feels in my hand.

Criticisms encouraged.

Thanks for looking,
SDS

specs:

1/8" CPM-154cm
stainless steel guard, pins, and lanyard tube
green micarta with red liner
3" blade
6 3/4" overall length

Fit & Finish look excellent. I'm with you about the blade length. But, if it's something someone wants and there's a reason for it, oh well.
Grinds look real crisp.

The proportions aren't that extreme, and if your customer needs a 3" blade and a hand full of grip, that's what what they're going to be. I think what's catching your eye is the long, straight line on the underside of the handle. Adding some bulge or finger grooves could have broken that up and made the handle not look so long. It does look like it should have a good feel to it though.

Thank you very much for the kind comments.

I think I'm going to make one for myself for a carry/utility knife since I don't have one of my own blades that I carry.

The proportions look off to me too. But other than that, it looks great/
