Green Ray Tanto S30V - DLC

Hey All,

It's been a while since I've shared any pics with you all, so here we go. I was able to take few pics before this one headed out the door to NYC.

I've been making this same model for several years now, although I've seemed to have refined the design somewhat over that time. This piece is made from 5/32" thick S30V, Rc60. The profile is somewhat Americanized Tanto in nature with a clip point, and some radius on the leading edge. Epoxy coated diamond cord wrap over green ray skin. The blade is Tungsten DLC coated by Bodycote. This is the first cord wrapped knife I've done with the coating and I really like the look of it, as the coating turns a nice dark charcoal color when dry.

Very nice and the wrap is done to perfection . I too like the coating on this blade .

The blade length is 5" and the knife is right at 9 3/4" oal.
