Green River Skinner arrived! Big thanks to Davek14!

My lucky Irish blood paid off and I won the generous GAW from Davek14 last week, a Green River Works skinner that he customized himself. Dave put some custom aluminum handles on the knife that have a nice Celtic weave pattern engraved into them. The knife arrived a few days ago and this thing is a real beauty! I have Irish blood, I deer hunt, it's like this knife was made to order for me Dave also included a ceramic rod with antler handle with the knife, this will be great for field touch ups. The knife is extremely light and thin and should make skinning a deer easy work. I can't wait for the upcoming deer season this year so I can, hopefully if the season is good to me, use this knife to process my next harvest. Needless to say I'm very grateful to Dave for the knife and ceramic rod:thumbup: It's people like Dave that make this traditional forum the best around:thumbup: Couple of pics!

About halfway through the GAW, life happened as it will do. I was "persevering" and I didn't have much board time but I checked the thread daily. All the kind words were a balm to my soul. Thanks once again to all the nice folks we have here.
