Green River Skinner has a new home

[Bearpaw Customs]

This is a Green River skinner that I made for a for a shooting buddy. The blade is 5/32' ATS34 at RC 62. The blade is 5" long by 1 1/4 wide flat ground and mirror finished.Bolsters are 416ss and the handle is Winewood resinwood.
I hope you like it. As of this post it has been used on two Blacktail Deer last week.

What is the finish on the resinwood if you don't mind me asking?

Because the resinwood is simaler to Pakawood I just sanded down to 600gr. and then buffed with K&G green.

Thank you guys for the nice comments' I know this one will get lots of use as the owner has a Small ranch in N.calif. and butchers a few hogs and beef every year as well as deer and wild hogs.

I didn't know ATS34 could handle being that hard!

That was a walkj in the park compared to Hatchets.Check out HUNTER HATCHET or GUTHOOK HATCHET in the axe ,hatchet forum. Those buggers are hard to polish to a mirror finish.
