I dont freakin think so......I hate snakes, bats, rats, mice, big spiders......

I had a pair of captive green snakes for a few years and your picture brings back some memories, they sure where hell on crickets:D it was fun to watch them hunt.

I see wild ones time to time, they seem to live in trees for the most part.

Those have to be the most unique knife shots I've seen. I, too, detest snakes, but kudos for an original idea.

is that poisonous?

Nope, these little guys are probably the most harmless wild animals you can handle, think of it of a small lizard without legs.
They don't bite often and if they do it doesn't hurt much.

Dont get me wrong, the pics are great, snakes just freak me out, dont even get me started on bats. When I was little, I stepped on a snake and did not know it, it proceeded to wrap itself around my leg, of course I screamed like a girl :D............Your daughter is alot braver than I !!!

a beautiful knife
and a beautiful snake to celebrate life
I love the little creatures of the earth and sky
and love to watch them as they crawl and fly

watching the world
without intervening
is relaxation
with a deeper meaning

softly the old wolf whimpers as he dreams
vaguely remembering hunting long ago
racing over hillsides, splashing through the streams
running in the rain, plunging into snow

seizing prey in triumph as he hears their screams
never fighting nature, going with the flow

life no longer what it was, only what it seems

That is deep for a Sunday afternoon Esav! Great post!

On a side note, in Africa if you see a green snake with a coffin head and black mouth.......run your *** off as it is a Green Mamba. http://www.google.co.za/images?q=Gr...esult_group&ct=title&resnum=1&ved=0CCIQsAQwAA

They look very similar to the NC Green snake (except size) and for a moment I thought it might be a small one. I also just noted the NC snake has white underneath that as far as I know the Green Mamba does not.

Interesting fact is that even Buffalo run like mad when one of these Mambas are close buy.
