First post here. I am a COMPLETE novice when it comes to knives. I appreciate them the same way I appreciate a fine painting. I admire the end result, and know that a vast amount of work went into the creation of something so beautiful, but I neither know HOW it was done nor do I really have the time to learn. In any case, I hope that doesn't offend anyone's finely honed (HAW HAW HAW, HONED! GET IT?) sensibilities. Really though, I am glad I found the site, and I look forward to making many more horrible puns in the future.
Okay, on to the back half of my title. I just saw the Arnie vehicle "True Lies" again. In the beginning sequence, when our hero SCUBAs under the frozen Austrian/Swiss lake, he uses one awfully attractive knife to poke through the ice. Now, I know I said I was a complete novice, but it sure looked like a chisel pointed tanto to me. Does anyone who knows more that I do (aka everyone who is reading this) know exactly what knife it was? Can I buy one? Where can I buy one? How much does it cost?
