Hi folks, my name is Kris. I just joined the forum and thought I'd say Howdy. I've been collecting knives for a few years and I have no idea why I never joined until now. I'm looking forward to becomming a part of the community and getting to know you guys.

My collecting to this point has been exclusively focused on folders. Currently, my modest collection sits at about 160 knives, with Spyderco being the largest single group in the collection. With the exception of my full auto knives (Which unfortunately, Oklahoma takes a dim view of me carrying), I EDC ALL of my knives in rotation. My wife thinks I'm nuts, but then again, I doubt that's all that unusual around here.

Anyway, it's good to be here and I hope to become a contributing member. :)

Kris

Welcome aboard! Just out of curiousity, what part of Oklahoma? I can chuck a rock into the panhandle from here.

Welcome to BladeForums, Kris !
Lots of stuff you'll enjoy here.

I was given a ride home by a female officer in Tulsa once. A couple of years later I saw her on an episode if Cops.

That makes me almost famous!

Nice to see another Okie on the forum. Maybe we can get the AKTI to lobby for the great state of OK so we can have the option to carry Autos. Wishful thinking most likely LOL.

Even in Oklahoma, (which has a VERY stong castle doctrine), I doubt that we're going to get Auto's legalized. People just react weird to seeing a blade flick out of a knife. Heck, I can flick open a Spyderco or several other brands just as fast. But they just don't seem to have the same impact on people's emotions as an auto does.
