Ive got a few old wood handled/wood sheathed hand carved knives I know very little about. Dark wood, some have braided something (may be vegtable, doesnt seem like animal) rings holding them together.
I'm sure someone knows all about them and can name them and give me approx. values.....

I've heard "cane knives" in the past and possibly came from Hawaii many moon ago...

Want to see them? Is this the right forum or should I move along to another?
 
Welcome to the forums and unwisefool unwisefool is actually pretty wise and correct with his comments above. And to post images you will need to use a photo hosting site, some are free, some, like Flickr cost a little to host the images.
