Hi there. My name is Lautaro Julio and i'm from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I'm 19 years old, soon to be 20. I've been making knives for 2 years now as a hobbie, hoping that i can make my living through this art that i feel so passionate about. It's been a few days since. Ive finished this piece that is very important to me, since ive included in its creation several assembly techniques, that i had never tried before. Without further a do ill leave you the technical details and pictures down below . I hope you like them.

Handle Stabilized maple
S Guard and other pieces in fosfaticed iron.

19 yrs old? You have an advanced sense of aesthetics. Very nice design and well executed.

wasn't long ago that another 19 year old was the talk of the Forums and look at him now (MS) Great looking knife. Hope to see lots more from you, especially when you are turning out your own damascus.

Welcome! You are quite a talented young man. The fittings on that knife are very nice, and you did a wonderful job with attention to detail.

Gracias a su novia para las fotos.

Yes a fine effort ! Has the handle been dyed ?
May I comment on the photos ? A contrasting color would show the knife better. Green or blue would contrast the grey steel . Have her study the photos by " SharpByCoop " in the forum "stickies".

Something in the water in Argentina, I swear. They all join the forums and are like "I'm twelve, been making knives for fifteen minutes, here's a fabulous piece of mine that I'm submitting for my M.S. stamp..."

Amazing work.

Amazing work.

More Like "I'm 12, have been making knives for 5 years, here is a very humble(NOT) piece that will be submitted to the Smithsonian, as I earned my M.S. by popular vote".

Extremely funny!

That's very nice. I would suggest if you insist on a cattle brand makers mark or any other mark put your name on it anyway:thumbup:

BTW, excellent lines and excecution.
