just wanted to say hi and let you all know that uncle bill has unfairly portrayed me as a lurker. if you send uncle bill three or four lbs of aged cheddar good things will happen. he prefers 5 yr. old. uncle bill lived in asia long enough to understand the fine art of making a deal. a pair of landjaegers also help. (a local sausage)

So that's the secret? Welcome to the cantina Mr. jlrillie. Hope to see you around more often.

Welcome to the cantina Jerry! It will
be nice not to have to refer to you as
"the Lurker with Big Pockets (LBP)"
after all

Jerry,
Nice to see you posting on the forum. It looks like you already have the khukuri buying down to a art form.
By the way you have e-mail.

I'm also trying to find my old book of Upper Penninsula Yooper Curses to threaten him with. There's a great one that has to do with causing your snowmobile to blow ice in your socks, but it has to be sung, and I can't remember the tune to "Heike Luna". HHHmmmm....haven't looked in the attic...

Welcome to the forum/cantina from somebody who has only recently been infected with that special disease known as HIKV. BTW, I have always thought that “landjaeger” were only common in Southern Germany, and now I have to discover that they are also known in Wisconsin. Too bad that I can’t send you some from Germany for comparative purposes, the FDA might cause some trouble…

Welcome Jerry to our coterie of Ferengi minded khukuri enthusiasts. Hope to hear more from you about yak cheese and which khukuris are best to cut them.

Anton:

Everything good to eat that can be found in Germany, can be found in Wisconsin (and Minnesota). We haven't lived there for 30 years, and I've just now got my cholesterol under control. MMMMmmm, I miss it, too.

Welcome to the Cantina, jlrillie! Have fun here, and in real world with your favorite khukuris.

Anton, we minorities on HI forum must be allied against FDA ... allied, or "axis"ed, they may call it?

Hi Jerry,
It sure is nice to have you finally post. It seems the list of good people just keeps getting longer on the forum. You will fit right in.
