Greetings to all forumites - old and dear friends; new friends and all of you who have been so loyal to Yangdu and HI. I thank you from bottom of my heart. I am happy to once again be able to visit your great country and be with my lovely daughter for a little while. As you all are aware we recently have had some quality control problems and are trying to get this issue solved. Yangdu misses Uncle Bills wisdom and integrity in running HI and often struggles to make right decisions.
Politically there is still much unrest in Nepal which can and does at times affect our production. Since I have been here Yangdu was able to purchase and send to the shop five elk antler racks from south Dakota so you will be seeing some beautiful handles from these in the future. If you are interested in learning about Nepal I encourage you to use your computers or go to your local library there is a world of fascinating information out there. I even learn new things when I reach for the facts about my country.

For all the hoopla, sales racks, flashing lights, and other shallow glitzy stuff that accompany the holiday season in this country, the one true treasure and source of greatest joy is simply being with family and friends. Your presence in Reno is a great gift to Yangdu, and to all of us, your friends.
I wish you all the best for your family, your business, and the people both here and in Nepal, whose lives are enriched by it.

Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, and God bless you and yours,
Sarge

Thank you for all you have done providing us with beautifully made khukris, knives, and swords. We are looking forward to seeing what your kamis will do with the South Dakota elk. Enjoy the visit with your daughter.

Pala, thank you for the kind message, and for the feedback ragarding production issues. I have full confidence in the quality of these knives. Looking forward to another great year for new and old models, and new people finding out about HI.

I hope you have a wonderful holdiay season with your daughter.

Norm

Hearing from you, Sir, adds a much missed spiritual touch that the late Martino used to fill. Thank you for keeping HI alive.

The journey of life must have it ups and downs. How well one handles the downs proves the true worth of the person. I'm sure those issues will be resolved. It wonderful in this day and age to see that "family/community matters" and what a wonderful community that is assoicated with HI. And thank you one and all for the open reception you have offered this man.

Sir, have a wonderful stay in the USA. God bless each and all. Wally

Kami Sherpa,

It is good to hear your voice, even if it is only in my imagination as I read the words Yangdu posted. I hope you are both able to enjoy the holidays here.

Namaste,

Kami Sherpa,

Welcome back...

Your daughter is wise in many ways...and her integrity is beyond reproach. We are blessed to have her running the place.

Please pass my greetings to the kamis...I have every faith in their work.

Namaste,
Nasty

Welcome, Kami Sherpa! Enjoy your visit. Many thanks to all at Himalayan Imports for all the fine things this year, and we can't wait to see the great knives, swords and tools the kamis will hammer out for HI next year.

I received a familiar triangular box in the mail today. It contained a very well made, beautiful, functional khukri which I intend to cut a large amount of wood with this coming weekend. It gives me pleasure to own such a fine knife, and I thank you and yours for making that possible.

I wish you, your family, the kamis and their families peace, health, and a better future!

Andy

Welcome back Kami Sherpa! Its great to have you back again.

I hope you stay is enjoyable as well as productive (Play some slot machines and have a few Heinekins--in memory of Uncle Bill in between business duties:) )

I'm so glad you could come. Thank you for all the work you've done for HI, and thus, for Yangdu and us. It is a time of thanks and family, so it is most appropriate that you are here. Namaste.

Chris
