I am at the BKS show this weekend. We had the "soft opening" for the local hunters tonight. Not everyone was set up and it wasn't as lively as in 2009, but the guys said the same thing about Friday night last year. The serious players show up tomorrow. Report and maybe even a bad photo or two to follow.;)

So you actually made it this year? wink wink nudge nudge
Be sure and post some pics!
I'm jealous. I love that reastaurant across from the 3 Keys Hotel.
Have fun lucky man!

Having fun visiting with the brethren but no joy in the sales department so far.

I am once again the token American. :D. The theme this year was wootz and they have enough guys here that makemthenstuff that they were able to offer the basic seminar presentation in French, Dutch, German and English and still have at least 3 other guys who make the stuff left over. Because of some late logistical nightmares, inonlynmadenitnover withn6 knives, 5! Of which are Damascus. Three of them are basic " Ferry Flip" crushed W variants and interestingly, I appear to be one of the few guys showing any tiled/mosaic blades as opposed to mosaic bolsters, etc. The more complicated Damascus pieces at the show this year tend to have complex multibar blades.

Hope sales today will be better Joe. Once in the past when I did the show, Saturday was terrible and then Sunday business was good. Hope that's how it works out for you!

How's the crowd this year? They usually get the place pretty full.

Hope you can shoot a few pics!
