Hello all,

Just joined up for this forum, although I'm on quite a few other forums for my hobbies. Please bear with me, and feel free to offer tips, insight, help, and jokes anytime.

About me: I'm Shane From New York State(Hudson Valley area) I'm 31 and enjoy pretty much everything outdoors. Knives are my 2nd love next to firearms(although NY is making it pretty hard to have fun with a gun).
Motorcycles, rock climbing, camping, SHTF, cooking, and that's about it for now. Any questions please ask.

@ea42 I used to live in Goshen. Moved out to Montgomery now.

@charlesbjr, you sir are in the deepest craphole of the state lol. I wish you much luck in NYC. Move out of there and come to the "country" it's somewhat more free. ;-)
 
Welcome i am from the Cuse area, and a bit of a gun nut myself.....what's your poison as far as firearms go?
 
ahh I love all of them! Seriously though. I love rifles, My Savage .308 bolt action rifle is my favorite. I am disappointed in the unSAFE Act. I shot AR's but never owned one. I love the SKS and the M1 garand. I used to own a Norinco Ak. That was an amazing gun to play with. My wife is the pistol girl. She has a S&W 9mm, I'm trying to convince her to get a Sig or a Xd. A few buddies of mine are nuts as well haha. One lives in AZ and builds his own for sale, and invited me out to go play with everything he has. *drooling*. That shall be my Vacation this year I hope.

Im an AR nut...you can still build them or buy complete ones too they just have to be a bit neutered.

Lol. Very true. It just gets frustrating in this state. Because I actually love NY. I don't want to leave here even for PA. I'm one of those guys that was spoken about. Conservative, gun nut, lol.
