Hey All...

We know it has been a while since we have been here to post or to do some "sharking" as it may be.
Things have been a bit crazy here with Dr. visits, vehicles breaking, the boys growing, and life in general.

A quick update... I think the last time we posted was shortly before or after Sandra (Willow) had the breast reduction surgery. We are happy to report that after a year and 3 months things have healed well and there have so far been no other masses showing up on the latest mammogram. I am still dealing with the neck pain from the 2004 car accident & the 2004 C5-6 C6-7 C-spine fusion & the 2006 revision surg & placement of rods and screws to stabilize the fused Area. The left shoulder remains in full-time spasm, with pain that runs the mid-line of the c-spine into the left shoulder, down the outer aspect of the left arm and into the left hand. the 3-5 digits remain with VERY altered sensation (pretty much numb) and the 1-2 digits alternate between numb and painful. I remain on the pain meds which allow me to function at 1/2 my normal "self" I still combat the depression that goes along with Chronic intractable pain, but have found ways to "work through" the bad days.
Ed (DocH) is still battling the back pain that he has dealt with since his injury on the job in 1994. He has been trying to hold off on ANOTHER surgery as long as possible but I think 2011 may be the year he goes in and has EVEN MOVE hardware put in the back at L3-4 (L4-5 & L5-S1 are already fused) He too battles Chronic Intractable Pain, so at least we UNDERSTAND just what the other is going through.
Our boys are getting big.... Shawn, the oldest is now 11 and in the 6th grade. I am very proud to report that he made the High Honor Roll at his school (to be on that the student MUST have an grade average of 90.00 and above) Jacob is now 10 and in the 5th grade. he is doing very well at his school and has achieved Level 4 status ( at his school (which is for children that have learning differences) this level is for students that are progressing to the schools satisfaction and in accordance to the child's IEP (Individualized Education Plan) with a slight adjustment to his meds. he is being able to enjoy learning more without being so distracted.
It's also been a crazy year with cars. my PT cruiser blew the turbo so that is being sold... (Just too expensive to fix) and the truck needed some work as well.
With the holidays coming up, we are trying to get some money together for gifts and such, so we are going to be thinning out some of the HI blades we have. We would MUCH rather have someone who REALLY cares about HI and their blades purchase them, then someone who has no clue..
We will be listing them on here shortly...

(( Sales Content Edited ))

Hope everyone has been doing well, and now that this crazy year is finely on it's way out... we hope to once again be able to be more active on the HI Forum.

Many Regards & Brightest Blessings,
Sandra (Willow Myst) and Ed (DocH)

Helluva a journey and a bumpy road while you travelled it.

Hope health comes soon, and the kids continue to thrive.

Best wishes.

Good to hear from you guys!
Glad to hear surgeries went well and healing is good.
I think it's been kind of a crazy year for everyone.

Unfortunately i'm going to have to edit the sales part of your post. Just list them in the exchange (gold membership required). Be sure to read the newly revised and implemented exchange forum rules.

NP RE: the edit...... ;) I had a feeling I might have made a mistake posting it like that....
Will have Ed read up on all the rules and regs to refresh before posting...

Thanks San (Willow)

Sandra and Ed, How kind to send a blessing even though you are experiencing troubles. Wishing the best for both of you and your sons.

Howard....

Troubles are just a small pothole in the road of life..... If I was to not look at what we DO have as a blessing and offer onto our friends blessings as well..... Well, we'd be digging ourselves out of a mighty big ditch. ;)

Welcome back, continue prayers for all of you from HI and Kamis
