Hiya,
Been lurking and stealth hogging for a while and figured it was time to contribute a little and join in the discussion.

Welcome! Thanks for the pics - that's some beautiful scenery. Great place for a FBM.

Welcome!! Great shots!

Sorry to hear about your Father. Memories like the one above are awesome!!

Welcome!

Sorry to hear about your loss.

Pull up a chair, grab a drink, this place will make you feel welcome!

Welcome Dave!

Awesome pics, especially the one of you and your dad... Thanks for sharing them.

I Like the DW a lot. It is very tight, but not to tight to function properly. I have put about 800 rounds through it, mostly Winchester White Box, and have yet to have a failure to feed or eject. It will also put 50 rounds of WWB into a 2-3 inch group at 25 yards.

As much as I like the CBOB, I like the 10mm gold cup better. It will group considerably better. It is all original except for the recoil spring, firing pin stop, guide rod, and grips. I pulled those parts off and placed them in its box. They are some of the hard to replace items with original factory parts, so I didn't want to take a chance damaging them. Also the guide rod, spring, and firing pin stop help with reliability and function. I have about 2000 rounds through the 10mm without any function problems also.

Take care, Dave

That's a kick-ass deer in your last hunting trip with your dad. Glad you bagged that one. Thanks for the pics.

Hey Dave, glad to have you aboard!

You're sure off to a great start:thumbup:

Sorry to here about your father.
There was a Master Chief2 here that I had 2 dealings with a good while back.
Was that your Dad?

Every one loves to camp, fish, and shoot. It is fun teaching the young ones important values before they have a chance to be corrupted.

Thanks for letting me share, Dave

Dad was an E-9 Master Chief. He joined the Navy in the late 50's and retired in the 70's. Mostly in the nuke program while it was in it's infancy. Being old school as he was, he owned a computer but never was connected to the internet, never owned a credit card, and was married to Mom for 49 Years, up until the day he retired for good.

Regards, Dave.

Welcome to the madness.

There are more than a few spudnuts here in the Busse world. And some of us are ex-navy too.

We really need to have a Rendezvous over at Skunk's place.

Rick - in Idaho Falls

Welcome to the forum, glad you came out of hiding. Great way to introduce yourself, Busse, guns, and family; values held dear here. :D
