Hi Guys,

yes, yes, you are right. I promised to save my money for the travel to
Post Falls. But it is not so easy to say no to this offer.

What would you pay for this knife?

Thank you for any answer

Hi Herbert,

IMHO...Dave maybe a bit low!!! The DM stag 110's are many on that evil E site and they go for a min of about $200. You don't see many DM/GB....so I'd say at least $200. But, we all know price is a fickle thing. Nice score and thanks for sharing.

Hmmmm the offer is appx 165 Union coins. It's a lot of money but the knife compares to the other grey bone 110 I have.

Do you like to see a pic' of the two together soon?

Best,
Haebbie

Thank you, Guys, for your answers. It is not so easy to say no. I'll tell you if I don't buy it.

That depends...Is it someone we know???

(Hmmm...Who hasn't posted in a while?...)

No Chicky, it's no one from the BF. It is an offer here in good old G.

Best,
Haebbie

gray bone is hard to find ...
i do not see red bone and brown bone offten enught
but gray bone jest dont show up much at all..

normaly stag brings most then elk and bleached elk
then red and brown jig bone and blach horn about the same

nickel is a power boost on any bone or horn and most times
NK and bone will bring more then stag and brass...

my estmate on americian ebay would be 180 no box sheath
and 230 with all the good's

this forum has increased the number of buck bidders on ebay of late.
i would love to know if the number of anual or lifetime member ships
in the bcci has increases over the normal new member ships...

in fact i will start a thread on that question...

Beautiful knife Haebbie. I have no idea on value.... I assume it's all Buck factory or custom shop work (not a customizer)? I've seen 420HC bladed 110's with various bone handles go for $150. Love to see more pics if you get it :)

Shame on me, I couldn't say no. :grumpy::grumpy::grumpy:

It seems that I am not only infected with the pestilent buck fever. It is the precarious variation that eliminates every rationalitiy after vewing an interesting offer of Buck knives.

Knifeschmied, I mean it is a factory knife. Buck offers the DM bladed 110 from the end of the eighties and the beginning nineties with different bone or stag scales. And I own the same knife with the standard blade. Is it possible that the grey bone DM was on factory sale but not offered in the official dealer catalog?

I'll post a pic asap.

Best, Haebbie

Nice looking knife. - - Fortunately the Buck factory isn't far from me and I stop by there regularly when visiting my brother & family. Also, they built a new Cabelas and opened it recently in Post Falls. So I can go to the factory to order my custom 110 and to Cabelas store to pick up an Alaskan S30V Buck 110. :) Plan to be over there again a couple days after Christmas.

Both are jigged. Just like the feel of jigged bone better than the smoother surface. No particular reason, just feels better in the hand.

i have only heard of gray bone being smooth.
and red or brown bone only of being jigged..
buffalo horn both jigged and smooth...
never of jigged ivory ?
humm i wander what that would look like?

It arrived and it looks great. But don't come too close.

Best, Haebbie

((please click the pic'.))

Thank you for looking!
